I never really thought of myself as a Sci-Fi reader before this pandemic. But 2020 and 2021 have proved that Science Fiction has been a wonderful escape for me. I can’t seem to get enough of it, and this book was another that I found myself completely obsessed with while I was reading it.
Although I do have to admit that after the (no spoilers but this is a slight spoiler) art gallery scene and the backyard scene this book became a read during daylight hours and preferably in a room full of people and dogs and possibly check outside to see if anything in my town looks weird first book because I am NOT a brave woman when it comes to living cities. Nope. Not at all.
This book is the first in the Great Cities Trilogy. I cannot wait for the next one!
