Walking symbols

I started collecting walking symbol pictures. I think they are charming. They remind me of the artwork from The Raconteurs Help Us Stranger album and the days we spent listening to it on repeat.

We spent most of the month of May at the racetrack leading up to the Indy 500. The month included a lot of walking and the symbols directing foot traffic around the speedway are the first that I started collecting.

Ever since, I’ve been collecting walking symbols with my phone camera.

I gave myself just one simple rule:

• The walking symbols have to be from places I have walked (so no drive by car photos)
